Travel alone without anyone losing track of you.
One tap a day tells your people you are fine, across time zones and patchy wifi. No hourly updates, no group chat to keep alive.
Free to start on iPhone and Android. No location tracking.

It's Time to Check In
How was the day on the road?
You checked in from Lisbon
Your circle back home can see it.
No check-in yesterday
Your circle has been notified.

Travel safe. Talk soon.
Works across time zones
Pick a check-in time that fits where you actually are, so nobody is waiting up doing the math.
No location tracking
You are not broadcasting where you sleep. You share a check-in, not a map pin.
Silence gets noticed
If you miss a scheduled check-in, your circle is told instead of assuming the wifi died again.
“Being able to check in and let others know I am ok without spending a long time on the phone is easy with this app.”
“I really like the ease of use of this app. I enjoy the timed reminders and being able to create a circle of trusted people.”
How to set it up
- 1
Pick two or three people back home
The ones who would actually start making calls if you went quiet.
- 2
Set a check-in time in your local day
Evenings work well. Update it when you change countries.
- 3
Agree what a missed day means
Usually a bad connection. Decide how long they wait before escalating.
Private by default
- Invite-only circles. Nothing public, nothing searchable.
- No location sharing and no background monitoring.
- Free to start, on iPhone and Android.
Common questions
Does it need a constant connection?+
No. You check in when you have signal, and the check-in is recorded then. There is nothing running in the background between taps.
Can my family see where I am?+
No. Just Checking In has no location tracking at all. Your circle sees that you checked in and how you said you were doing, nothing more.
What happens if I forget while I am on a long travel day?+
Your circle is notified that the check-in was missed. That is why it helps to agree in advance how long they should wait before treating it as a real concern.
Does it replace a personal locator beacon?+
No. It is a daily habit and awareness tool, not a rescue or emergency service.
Go far without going dark.
Set up a small circle before your next leg and let one tap a day handle the rest.
