Dad sent ❤️

Thanks for the check-in. No call needed.

One tap on how the day went. Add a note only if you feel like it.

As someone who has a parent who struggles with mental health, this app has helped tremendously with keeping up with my parent and family, and them keeping up with me.

My closest friends and I use this to stay updated with each other's mood without having to speak every day. Many times I've been sad and I check in, and my friends have called me right after.

How to set it up

  1. 1

Set it up with your parents once

Invite them to a private circle so expectations are clear from day one.

  2. 2

Pick a time that survives your schedule

Evening beats mornings when classes and shifts move around.

  3. 3

Trade the daily call for the check-in

Agree that a check-in counts, so calls can be about something other than proof of life.

Private by default

  • Invite-only circles. Only the people you add can see a check-in.
  • No location sharing and no activity monitoring, ever.
  • Free to start, on iPhone and Android.

Common questions

Can my parents track my location with this?+

No. There is no location feature in the app. They see only the check-in you send.

Do I have to explain how I am feeling?+

No. You tap a mood and you are done. A note is optional and always yours to write or skip.

What if I miss a day?+

Your circle gets a notification that the check-in was missed. Most families agree that means a text, not a panic.

Can I use it with friends instead of family?+

Yes. Circles are just small groups of people you invite, so plenty of students run one with roommates or friends.

Keep them calm without giving up your privacy.

Set it up in a few minutes tonight and skip tomorrow's call.
